Conan Recommends Troll 2/More Info on Christmas Screenings

Conan O'Brian has a new segment on this show where he's the "new Oprah", since Oprah has announced her retirement. He's been recommending things for people to obsess over and you wouldn't believe what he recommend the other night.

I love Conan, even more than before (possible?!), and will love him even more (possible?!), if he brings Michael Stephenson and George Hardy on his show for Best Worst Movie. Don't worry, I've already wrote several letters to Conan to suggest this.
Anyway, more details on my Christmas screenings as promised:
Saturday night (the 12th) at Trash Palace in Toronto:
Greg will be showing A Cosmic Christmas, I will be showing Santa Claus, Jonathan will be showing Davey and Goliath Christmas Special and Stacey will be showing some 16 mm Christmas films as well (but he's keeping them a secret).

At first, we weren't going to sell tickets in advance and just sell them at the door. However, people kept going to Eyesore Cinema looking for tickets and our Facebook event showed an over capacity attendance, so you can now buy your tickets in advance at Eyesore. Buy them NOW!! The owner of Eyesore informed us, they're selling very quickly. This will be a sold out screening for sure. WOW!!
Then on Wednesday (the 16th), I will be hosting an Incredibly Strange Movie Night, Special Christmas screening:

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians at the Niagara Artists' Centre in St. Catharines.
Doors at 8 and films start at 8:30. In addition to the film, I'll be showing Christmas cartoons from the 40's and 50's and Santa Claus' Punch and Judy.

This event is pay what you can and/or bring a non-perishable food item, to be donated to a local food bank.

And I almost forgot to mention that this Friday (the 11th), Trash Palace is having another educational film night. I may also be contributing a 16 mm educational film or two again. No matter what, it's always so much fun to attend!

What a crazy, fun week I have ahead of me. :)
